Virtual Team

Clients are eligible to participate in a virtual team (coordinated by the DBIC) to assist with product selection and marketing. Clients and virtual team members communicate via email for a period of time (usually two months), during which time they identify themselves, outline the purpose of the team, and correspond on possible solutions.

The Virtual Team concludes the project with a group site visit at the client’s business. Virtual team membership is made up of no more than two DBIC staff members along with at least three industry representatives volunteering their time. Virtual team areas of work may include product selection and development, production options, marketing options and production obstacles. Non‐DBIC consultants are reimbursed by DBIC for travel and incidental expenses. The DBIC Client Manager initiates the request on behalf of the client.
