Mentor Program

Clients are eligible to use the services of identified mentors. Mentors, while not DBIC staff or specialists, provide expertise and time that DBIC staff and resources may not otherwise have available. DBIC Client Managers, partners and other staff assist with the identification of an appropriate mentor. Mentors are reimbursed for their mileage and approved incidentals and $100 per visit up to six visits during a period of time not to exceed six months.

During the initial visit (which is facilitated by the DBIC Client Manager), the client and mentor(s) identify areas of work and develop a work plan for the mentorship. The mentor(s) and client sign documents limiting liability. Mentors provide a written report and an invoice to the DBIC Client Manager and DBIC Administrator.
