This is a descriptive analysis of your new business or product idea, its market, and technical and capital requirements necessary for successful entry into the marketplace. This unbiased, third party document written by a DBIC consultant or consultants can be an effective tool to assist with securing public or private-sector funding. If you are interested in applying for a USDA Working Cpaital Value-Added Producer grant, it is a requirement that a third party feasibility study be completed prior to grant submission.
This process will require a 1 or 2 hour conversation between you and the DBIC consultant writer(s) about the specific project you are interested in analyzing. We will also need to access any documents you have outlining your ideas that will aid in the writing process. The writing and research process can take between 4 and 8 full days. The resulting document will be 15-20 pages in length and will provide a solid foundation for a full-length business plan.
